Event Justification

For those attendees who need to present the reason why attending HACK NYC 2018 will be an essential component of their work as a cybersecurity professional, we offer the following template for your consideration:

Dear (                   ),

The HACKNYC Cyber Security Conference (HACKNYC 2018) will be held May 8th-10th, 2018.  HACKNYC is a collaboration between the critical infrastructure community.  HACKNYC will take place this year at Microsoft's NYC midtown office located at 11 Times Square, New York City 10036.

Attendance at HACK NYC will allow me to brief my colleagues on the latest developments in cybersecurity policy, cyber resilience, and where the new technologies are developing, explain the emerging cyber threats from the law enforcement network and lastly, be briefed on real-life incidents and the results of how they were handled.

Information on the conferences can be found on-demand and online at www.hacknyc.com. HACK NYC 2018 promises to be just an important and historic event.

Since the first conference, HACKNYC presents the unique opportunity to learn from keynote, distinguished, plenary, and parallel session speakers who are all actively engaged in addressing cyber threats in the private, government, academic, and law enforcement sectors. Conference attendance is limited to 500 registrants, which allows for strong networking opportunities among the attendees. The cost of attendance is $50. In addition, there is Training held on May 9th and 10th for additional fees.

Registration is on a first-come, first-serve basis and has been sold out in previous years. Please let me know once I am approved to attend so I can be sure to lock in my registration for the briefings and training before it sells out.
