Identify - "Develop the organizational understanding to manage cybersecurity risk to systems, assets, data, and capabilities." 09:00 AM - 10:30 AM

Employing devices and scenarios from GRIMM’s replica smarthome

"Howdy Neighbor," this workshop will teach participants about common oversights made in the development, configuration, and deployment of IoT devices and how they can enable hackers unauthorized access to operational systems and sensitive data. For this workshop we will provide the equipment, software tools, and step-by-step instructions for both technical and non-technical participants to demonstrate the exploitation of IoT devices. We will have an ongoing demonstration of hacking IoT devices and pivoting into connected networks. Additionally, we will have laptops and instructions on-hand to enable workshop attendees the chance to experience hacking IoT devices themselves.
